Myth
Two identical figures from parallel universes step into the same river twice at the same time, thereby unifying the otherwise intransigent relationship of being and becoming.
The image projects a carnival atmosphere, which would no doubt accompany such a portentous resolve of a quintessential philosophical problem. The crop circle-inspired jigsaw puzzle is the matrix from which the landscape and figures emerge. A quantum physics ‘participator’ hand puts a puzzle piece in place, thereby assisting the reality of the scene. My spirit animal, the toad, watches.
“No man steps into the same river twice for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.”
-Heraclitus
